The Lords Prayer Cent
From the time of Wild West travelling medicine shows and fire and brimstone preachers, a brilliant engineer and engraver invented and sold a special machine that took a one cent piece, rolled it out and engraved the entire Lords Prayer on one side of the coin.
Travelling preachers used to carry these machines in the back of their wagon's and would exchange an engraved one cent piece for 25 cents or two bits as a quarter is often known .... this was often their only form of income for delivering a rousing sermon. A few of these machines survived which has made it possible to keep producing these Lords Prayer Cents.
The actual one cent design is clearly visible on one side and the entire Lords Prayer is completely readable and standing out on the other side.
