These are impressive pieces, produced almost 2000 years ago. This redware pottery was not only the most widely dispersed type in the Roman world but virtually exclusive to it. Archaeologists in this country often find shards of this pottery. They are now very difficult to locate.We have just three pieces. Really nice condition and a pleasure to own.
