Amongst the coins in a hoard found 40 years ago were these famous double crescent type quarter silver staters, showing a horse on the reverse, struck at the time of Ancient Britainâs most famous Queen Boudicca, around 50 A.D. These coins could have passed through the hands of a Roman soldier or a celtic warrior over 2,000 years ago. A true collectors coin. From the Iceni Tribe.
