Henry VII 1489-1509 Sovereign Type Silver Penny

These silver pennies are known as the ‘sovereign penny’ due to the obverse portrait showing the King seated on his throne, the same as the original gold sovereign hammered coin. The reverse depicts a shield of arms, key either side of bottom with Latin legend and beaded border. Diameter approx 14mm. In fine condition.
