1806-1807 George III Halfpenny
With no British coins struck by the Royal Mint for this period it was contracted out to the Soho mint and the steam powered presses of Michael Boulton.to produce these copper halfpennies of 1806 and 1807. I am sure many of the troops in 1815 were probably carrying these George III coins while fighting the French. Coins in very fine condition.
