Elizabeth I Silver Sixpence 1558-1603
From the time of this great Queen we offer you a hammered silver sixpence which were individually struck by hand. Each coin has a visible date. In fact, the Elizabeth I sixpence is one of the earliest English coins to carry a date of issue. A portrait of Elizabeth I on one side and the royal arms on the other and who knows your coin could have been on board a British man of war fighting against the Spanish Armada!
