1461-1470 Edward IV Groat

The war of the Roses was raging throughout this traumatic reign and Edward didnât help things for he was probably the most promiscuous monarch, and that is saying something! Despite a twenty year reign his coinage is fairly scarce. These four pence pieces show the facing bust of the King on the obverse and various reverses quartered, struck in various mints around the country. Coins are in F/VF condition.
