The Festival of Britain in May 1951 was a national exhibition open in London. A century after the 'Great Exhibition in 1851.

Produced by the Royal Mint in 1981 this silver crown was issued to celebrate the wedding of Princes Charles and Diana. The design shows both their portraits.
