• Features a right-facing bust of King Charles II, often described as having a long, flowing wig.
• The inscription reads:
  "CAROLVS II DEI GRATIA" (Charles II, by the Grace of God).

Reverse (Back):

• Displays three interlocking C’s, representing Charles, with a small crown above.
• Some varieties feature a simple numeral “III”, denoting the coin’s value (three pence).
• The surrounding inscription reads:
  "MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX" (King of Great Britain, France, and Ireland).
