1660-1685 Charles II Maundy Silver Penny
This was the first English penny to be made entirely of silver, rather than copper or a mixture of metals. On the obverse side, the coin features a portrait of King Charles II facing to the right with 1 crowned 'C' on the reverse. These coins were highly valued and were used in everyday transactions throughout the kingdom. Today, they are highly sought after by collectors due to their historical significance and rarity. In F/VF condition.
