2024 Australia Year of the Dragon Coin 2024 is the Year of Dragon, and is the fifth silver coin in the Perth Mint’s third lunar series. The reverse depicts a Chinese Dragon breathing fire. People born under this sign are naturally lucky and gifted, confident and powerful.
The design also includes the inscription ‘DRAGON 2024’, the Chinese character for ‘dragon’ and P125 mintmark for Perth Mint marking their 125th anniversary.
Struck in one ounce .999 silver, measures 40 mm in diameter, weighs 31.1 grams. The obverse bears a memorial portrait of Elizabeth II with her reign dates.
