2013 will mark the 60th Anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Everest by Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary in June 1953, at the same time as the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, what a splendid achievement. British Virgin Islands produced a crown in 2003 for the 50th, struck in cupro nickel and uncirculated condition. A reminder of a great expedition, at a special price.
