This is a most unusual crown for Britain and of course now very scarce. Issued in the reign of George III they were re-struck from the captured Spanish American 8 reales because of the shortage of silver. Sometimes you can see the original coins through the striking. Dated 1804 it had a value of five shillings. The coins are in F/VF condition. Only a few pieces available.
