Product code: 3001/010

Queen Anne 1714 Copper Pattern Farthing

This farthing was struck in the last year of her reign. The reverse depicts Britannia seated on a globe with a shield, lance and sprig of leaves. These coins were struck during the time of Sir Isaac Newton who was then Master of the Royal Mint. These coins never entered general circulation due to assaying the metal. The coin is in good VF condition.
