Coinex, 40th Anniversary, was held at County Hall, Westminster Friday and Saturday 28th and 29th September. It is a must for all serious coin collectors. Lots of coin dealers were there as well , none BNTA members and BNTA members were showing there stock. Attendance looked good and we came away with more coins to sell to our customers.
The Royal Mint has announced that a new 50p coin is to be released soon. If passed experiences are to go by then it will be a very popular coin. 50p coins with the snowman already exist and were originally issued by “The Pobjoy Mint” before losing the rights to the Royal Mint. They are very sort after now with premium’s being paid on the auction websites. We do have a few left on our website in cupro nickel.
Front cover to one of our catalogues. They normally consist of 8 pages of coins with new arrives to our stock and plenty of the historic ones to.
